How to Connect Bundledocs and NetDocuments

Posted in NetDocuments Tips | Last updated on October 22, 2026 by Craig Bayer

Bundledocs turns a stack of documents into one indexed, paginated, bookmarked PDF binder. NetDocuments is where those documents already live. Connecting Bundledocs and NetDocuments means no one has to download 200 exhibits to their desktop just to upload them elsewhere.

IT has nothing to configure. Each user links Bundledocs to NetDocuments once with their NetDocuments login, and that’s the whole setup.

What Connecting Bundledocs and NetDocuments Gets You

  • No downloading first – Documents go straight from a Cabinet, Workspace, or folder into a bundle. Nothing lands in anyone’s Downloads folder.
  • Pull in a whole container at once – Add one document, a handful, or an entire NetDocuments folder in a single pass.
  • Nothing new to install – Bundledocs runs in the browser. The only piece on the workstation is the NetDocuments browser extension.
  • The binder builds itself – Once the documents are in, Bundledocs handles the index, page numbering, Bates numbering, bookmarks, and hyperlinks.
  • The finished binder goes back into the matter – Save it to NetDocuments with the browser extension, so it lives with the documents it was built from.

Before You Start

  • You need a Bundledocs account.
  • Install the NetDocuments browser extension to save the finished bundle back.

Connecting Bundledocs and NetDocuments, Step by Step

Step 1: Open or Create Your Bundle

Click New Bundle, or open the one you’re working on.

Step 2: Click Add Documents and Choose the Section

Click the Add Documents button, then use Choose Upload Location to pick the bundle section the documents should land in.

Step 3: Click NetDocuments Under Choose from Storage Apps

The first time, Bundledocs asks for your NetDocuments login to link the two. After that, it remembers.

Step 4: Browse to the Cabinet and Folder

You can browse by Cabinet or jump to your recent and favorite Workspaces.

Step 5: Select the Documents and Click Create Documents

Pick individual documents, several at once, or the whole folder.

Step 6: Click Generate

Bundledocs collates everything into a single PDF with the index, pagination, and bookmarks in place.

Step 7: Save the Bundle to NetDocuments with the Browser Extension

Once the bundle is finished, save it into the matter with the NetDocuments browser extension. It lands in NetDocuments next to the documents it was built from.

Need Help?

Getting Bundledocs connected is the easy part. It pays off when your litigation team builds binders from NetDocuments instead of their desktops. If you’re evaluating Bundledocs, or you’ve bought it and the NetDocuments side isn’t working the way it should, we can get it working and show your team how to use it.
